Competitor intelligence
See who is above you, and why
Sondavo watches the searches that matter to you and records who appears, where, and how that shifts over time.
Measure
Standings from real results
For your real searches, Sondavo records which sites appear and in what order, then builds a standings table with your position in it. You can also declare rivals you already know about, so a newer site with little search history still has something to compare against.
Understand
Head to head, search by search
For any rival you can see the exact searches where they sit above you, and how far. History is kept, so a change in the standings is visible as a movement rather than a snapshot you have to remember.
Act
What they have that you do not
The link gap shows domains linking to better-ranked rivals but not to you, with the strong ones separated from the ones not worth chasing. Where a rival is named by AI assistants and you are not, that appears too, with the pages those assistants read.
What this is, and what it is not
Competitor standings come from a licensed third-party index of search results, which is an estimate of what a searcher would see rather than a record of your own account. It is labelled that way everywhere it appears, and it is never mixed into the first-party figures from your Search Console.
Sondavo does not claim to know a competitor's traffic, revenue or budget, because nobody outside their business does. It reports what can actually be observed: which pages appear for which searches, in what order, and which sites link to them.
Rivals you declare yourself are treated as first-class. The people who know a market best usually already know who they are competing with, and that knowledge is more reliable than anything inferred from a results page.
